I’m the Director of Podiatric Care at The Foot Clinic and have been with the clinic since it first opened in 1990.
My long term interests in Podiatry lie within the sports area as well as paediatrics. Career highlights have been working at the Olympic Games Village both in Sydney 2000 and in Athens 2004.
Most recently I have returned from the Melbourne Commonwealth Games where I undertook the role of clinical supervisor in the Podiatry department.
I’m a past president of Sports Medicine Australia (ACT) and currently have ongoing commitments with this organisation on a national level. Outside of work you may find me on my mountain bike or on the sideline of a rugby game. |

I’ve made it back to Canberra! Originally I trained in NSW and have worked both in Victoria and South Australia for quite a few years. I enjoy all aspects of Podiatry but I have a particular interest in the biomechanics (how feet work) of children’s feet. A very rewarding highlight of my career has been the involvement as a volunteer in “Podiatric Mission” trips to Vietnam, where I have worked predominantly with children.
Throughout my career I have continued to build on my Podiatric knowledge and have a fellowship with the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Podiatry.
Returning home to Canberra means I can now enjoy being closer to family and partake in Canberra’s enviable lifestyle advantages, cycle paths, cafes and very few traffic jams!! |

After gaining my qualification in podiatry and sports massage therapy in my home town of Melbourne, I was lucky enough to work along the southwest Victorian coast in Warrnambool for almost 2 years before deciding I was ready to pursue my interest in sports podiatry – and what better place to do that than in Canberra with the team at The Foot Clinic. Apart from looking at feet, my main hobbies are watching and playing Aussie rules football (maybe I should have kept that quiet), rugby league and tennis – although I have a small feeling I’ll have to add rugby union to that list pretty soon!
I’m only new to Canberra, but already I’m looking forward to taking advantage of the great lifestyle and opportunities that it has to offer. Go West Coast! |

| Originally from New Zealand but raised in Melbourne, I have moved to sunny Canberra to pursue my passion for Podiatry and sport. My degree has taken me to places all over Australia and the world including Newcastle, Glasgow and London where I was able to gain new exciting experiences and broaden my horizons in Podiatry. I have a key passion for adventure activities, cricket, hockey, rugby, soccer, travelling the globe, surfing, snowboarding, cooking and keeping fit. I have been lucky enough to represent my state in cricket and hockey, as well as for Scotland at a first class level. In my spare time you will most likely find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen (or at least trying to!). I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead of my new life in Canberra J |

I’m a Canberra born person who has a passion for both Podiatry and Hockey.
After finishing off my podiatry degree from the University of Western Sydney I returned to Canberra to work as a Podiatrist. While totally enjoying the Podiatry work I was unable to refuse an offer to play hockey in Belgium in a semi –professional capacity. I’m back now and still enjoying playing hockey for the ACT “Lakers”, but more importantly enjoying the teamwork and focus on sports Podiatry here at The Foot Clinic. |

Born and raised in Queanbeyan, I am excited to have joined The Foot Clinic after spending the last 5 years working in the Public Service. Prior to my public service experience I was the manager at The Athletes Foot store, helping people get the right fit with the right shoe. I have played sport my entire life and have been lucky enough to represent both NSW and the ACT in Basketball, Athletics and Rowing.
Nowadays my time is devoted to being both a husband and dad, spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter, Sabrena and Scarlett. Scarlett is closing in on 2 years old and sure keeps me on my toes. When I have some free time (quite rare) I still play Basketball as well as watching any sport that I can find, be it live or on television. |

It’s welcome back for me after having a few years off having babies. I first joined the clinic in 1998 with certificates 2 & 3 in business administration. I have two small children now to keep me busy. Hannah is 7yrs old and my youngest Jack is 4. It’s preschool this year for Jack, so I have been keen to return to the clinic to help out on the front desk a few days each week.
It’s been great to see so many familiar faces. In my spare time as a mum I enjoy Pump Classes at the gym just to keep me on my toes. |

Originally from Sydney, I grew up playing tennis, basketball & following the black line up and down a swimming pool. Due to serving in the Army my husband Brett and I have lived in a few different states and I represented the Victorian Army in Basketball and Touch Football. We settled in the ACT back in 1995. I have two boys, Daniel 14yrs and Thomas 12yrs. During the 2000 Olympics, I worked with the International Media.
My family and I have just returned from living in PNG for a year. During my spare time (who has spare time with kids), I enjoy walking & swimming. I also now have learnt about baseball thanks to watching my husband and boys play (Go Vikings). Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome since I have started and it has been great to see a few familiar faces from when I was a Swimming Instructor. |

I’ve been with the practice since it’s beginning in 1990 and have been an integral part in its establishment. My focus is on facilitating improvements for both our customers as well as our team. My background extends from being an Occupational Therapist and after taking on more administrative duties with the practice I completed my Diploma in Practice Management in 1995. From time to time I’m also called on to help other practices throughout Australia.
In my “real” spare time you will more than likely find me out on the golf course improving my swing and enjoying the exercise. |
